our special dark coffee is made with a blend of 100% organic beans, grown on small farms in colombia, sumatra and peru. the unique characteristics of each region come together to create this one-of-a-kind coffee experience.

peru

Peru is an emerging coffee-producing country known for its high-quality Arabica beans, grown primarily in the Andean highlands. The diverse microclimates and rich, fertile soils in Peru provide excellent conditions for coffee cultivation. Peruvian coffee is celebrated for its mild, balanced flavor profile, often featuring bright acidity, medium body, and notes of citrus, floral, or nutty undertones. The country’s coffee is prized for its versatility and is often used in blends as well as single-origin offerings. Peru’s coffee industry has seen significant growth in recent years, with increased focus on improving quality and promoting fair trade practices. A focus on organic production sustainable farming methods has helped Peru gain recognition in specialty coffee markets.

Colombia is one of the world’s most renowned coffee-producing countries, celebrated for its high-quality Arabica beans. Sumatra

Sumatra, one of Indonesia’s largest islands, is famous for producing distinctive and complex coffees that stand out in the global market. Coffee from Sumatra is typically grown in the highlands of the island, where the island’s volcanic soil and tropical climate provide ideal conditions for coffee cultivation. Sumatran coffee is known for its full body, low acidity, and earthy, herbal flavors, often with notes of chocolate, tobacco, and spice, making it a favorite for blends and dark roasts. This unique flavor profile is partly due to the traditional “wet-hulling” process (known as giling basah), where the coffee beans are hulled while still wet, leading to their characteristic deep, rich taste and slightly rough appearance.

Coffee is great - especially the special dark roast. I love the innovative design of the POD itself. However, many of the PODS inside of the package were dented and lightly crushed making it impossible for my Keurig to puncture the bottom of the POD and brew the coffee. Is there any trick to using a POD that is dented/crushed?

I'm drinking a cup right now. I really like this dark roast because of flavor but also very low acidity. I have a sensitive stomach but still love coffee and yours is gooood. 🤠
